Installation overview

Before beginning the installation process, review the compatibility matrix for Obcerv.

To install Obcerv, complete the following general tasks:

1. Confirm that you have met all the prerequisites.
2. Make sure that your planned configuration meets the resource and hardware requirements.
3. Install via Kubernetes Off-the-Shelf (KOTS). Choose whether your environment has:
   • Online access
     • Bring-Your-Own (BYO) cluster
     • Embedded cluster
   • No or limited Internet (air-gapped)
     • Bring-Your-Own (BYO) cluster
     • Embedded cluster
4. Enable data access authorization.

If you encounter any error during the installation process, you can generate a support bundle from the Obcerv admin console for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
