Flow collector data past retention period is not deleted.

Possible cause(s) Copied

• Cronjob for the netflow housekeeping is failing to run as expected.

Possible solution(s) Copied

• Download the support scripts and add the netflow housekeeping in root cronjob.

1. Download the support scripts from Opsview - Install support scripts – Support - ITRS Group.
2. Run the netflow_housekeeping support script for test functionality.
3. Add the netflow_housekeeping support script to the admin cronjob for automated execution.

   • # OPSVIEW-SUPPORTSCRIPTS-START
     10 0 * * * /opt/opsview/supportscripts/bin/netflow_housekeeping
     # OPSVIEW-SUPPORTSCRIPTS-END
     

   • Note: Adding the cronjob directly to the Opsview crontab may be changed/overwritten during an update.
