FTM plugin - additional way to check permission issues
Related to Copied
The client is facing an issue with FTM; it does not see the file.
Solution Copied
Try the following:
- Enable RMS Execute permission for the Netprobe.
Gateway Setup Editor => Probes => (Probe name) => Advanced tab => Permissions => RMSEXEC
- Switch the State Tree to Physical mode
Active Console => 3rd button on the toolbar => Physical Mode
- Call the RMS Exec menu
Active Console => State Tree => Gateway name => Probe name => right-click menu => RMS => Exec
- Try different combinations of dir command with fixed names and wildcards. e.g.
dir \ibg.adroot.bmogc.net\AppData\PrimeBrokerage\PBS\Library\STEPIncomingTrades\Enfusion_K2\Archive\K2Associates_Listed_*.csv
- Please provide us with the Active Console Output window for the results. (it is possible that the user does not have permission to read the “Archive” folder level)
Explanation: There may be sharing permissions applied at the top-level AppData folder, with access control lists configured for each subfolder and individual files below it.
