Why is support bundle generation failing in the KOTS admin console?

If you’re seeing the error Unable to surface insights for this bundle when trying to generate a support bundle via KOTS admin console, it’s likely due to a disconnection during the generation process. This can prevent the system from completing the bundle.

Even if you have access to the admin console, intermittent connectivity or session timeouts can cause the generation to fail partway through.

Use the command line Copied

If the issue persists and the bundle does not complete, try generating the support bundle using the command line interface (CLI) instead of the KOTS admin console.
