Replacing Jira API Token in OP5 Integration
Related to: Copied
Jira integration with OP5 Monitor using API tokens.
Problem: Copied
The customer wants to replace their existing Jira API token and is asking where it can be updated, either through the GUI or a file on the server.
Possible cause(s): Copied
- OP5 Monitor does not include built-in Jira integration as a standard feature. In most cases, the Jira connection is configured using the Service Desk Connector module or through a custom script created by the customer.
- Because of this, there is no default GUI option available to update the Jira API token.
Important note(s): Copied
- There is no standard GUI location in OP5 Monitor to update Jira API tokens.
- Jira integration in OP5 is usually considered a custom or unsupported configuration.
- Any changes to the Jira credentials typically require updating configuration files directly on the server and restarting the related service to apply the changes.
- If the customer is unsure where the integration is configured, it is possible that it exists as a custom script or event handler rather than the Service Desk Connector.
- May suggest Professional Services, but please note that it involves additional cost.
