Particulars
Find out which is the primary email
Find out if the user’s secondary account exists and is already tied to the organization. DO NOT merge accounts if belonging to different organization. Zendesk - Change/Update User Email Domain
Make sure the account is verified
- if the account is not verified then have the client verify the email first. - if the account does not tie into any organization then you must Consider GDPR and find a way to verify that both accounts are of the same user. - Contact your Shift leads or CS manager if you are unsure.
Merge the account
Inform the Client
inform the client that the account has been merged and close the ticket
