X - Route plugin - What underlying commands do we perform to populate the X-Route plugin. - For Windows Netprobe

Question:

We have a monitor using X - Route plugin. We want to know what is the command to get those metrics?

Answer:

The x-Route plugin doesn’t call any shell commands. Instead, it calls the libnetnt.dll libnet_write() function to send ICMP_ECHO packets to do timings for the route connection.
