Web-mon sampler returns error code 404

Problem

• Plug-in Web-mon giving an error with code 404

Possible causes

Root cause 1

• Website does not found

Root cause 2

• There’s a mistake in setting up the Web-mon

Possible solutions

Solution Root cause 1

• Check if the netprobe server can reach the target
• Must know that If authentication is required to reach the page
• Do a curl -v from the netprobe server, and see if you get any result

e.g curl -v -u https://alteryx-sec-corp.vip.marketaxess.com:443

Solution Root cause 2

Sampler > Web-mon plugin > Scenarios > Stages > Url

• Make sure that you did not add the complete URL, just input the extension from base. Edited it as below.
