What happens if a # character is present in my dataview

The Active Console performs an indentation at the row level. The # character is used to format a number of plugins like FKM and Processes plugins these are put into Sub Groups.

Example - A Toolkit data view below contains a # character - note there is an indentation below.

Geneos - What happens if a # character is present in my dataview.

The Active Console will by convention display rows containing a # character indented from other rows in a dataview. These rows are referred as sub-rows and are typically used for displaying additional details for the row they are displayed under. This is typically seen in FKM or Processes plugin.

The recommendation is if you do not wish indentations to appear in a Toolkit or a Rest-API plugin for example then you should remove the # from your script so it does not appear.
