What does "EMF2 PlugIn DEVICEIO not found" mean on Windows Netprobe logs?

This is because the DeviceIO sampler Plugin is attached to a Managed Entity belonging to a Windows machine. The error below will be found in the netprobe log:

As referenced in the DeviceIO documentation, “the Device IO plug-in is only supported on Linux and Solaris platforms.” The solution is to un-attach the DeviceIO sampler from the Managed Entity affected.
