Active Dashboard - create dashboard controls which behave the same way as cells in a metric view

Using the Custom Modifiers in the dashboard you can create tools that work largely like cells in a metric tables, with a couple of minor differences You can download them below in this article “Metric table Cell Tools.adt”. To add them to your work space use ‘File –> Import’. The following tools will be added to your dashboard palette:

• Metric table cell tool - will show severity, snooze and active status like a normal metric table cell. If the whole row or data view is missing the text will be blank and the cell grey. - Metric table tool blue if disconnected - works like a normal metric table cell, but will go blue if snoozed, not active or the whole row or data view is not present.

To use them just drag and drop a cell onto the dashboard and select the tool from the tools section of the dialog.
