Active Dashboard - Using X-Path links in dashboard objects to match for specific data-items

Adding links to dashboard objects with specific match functionality, such as underlying dataviews with warning or critical severities, can be achieved by using an X-Path URL.

To do this, upon adding an object on the dashboard, right-click on the object and select Properties. In the Object Attributes dialog box, select Links on the left-hand pane. From here, you will be able to add links.

In the example, you can add an X-Path that matches all dataviews with a severity of Critical or Warning:

Upon double-clicking (or using the right-click context menu to select the link), a Search dockable will present you with the matching dataviews.
