X Plugins - How Does X-Multicast Computes dataRecvRate and MsgRecvRate Values?
The dataRecvRate is calculated as follows:
samplingInterval = currentTime - timeOfLastReading
dataRecvRate = (dataSize / samplingInterval) / 1024
Note
The 1024 - datasize being sent is in bytes; therefore, we divide to 1024 since our unit as displayed is in KB/sec.
The msgRecvRate is calculated as follows:
samplingInterval = currentTime - timeOfLastReading
msgRecvRate = messageCount/samplingInterval
