Can encryption of the database be configured within the Gateway itself
The answer would be NO, security encryption and secure connectivity of a database are done and controlled on the database side and it is advised that it should be administered by a DBA.
Once the database has been encrypted, you will need to keep the encryption key safe. If you lose the encryption key, you will not be able to decrypt the database.
