Custom Scripts
Custom scripts, as per the Support Policy are outside the scope of support. A custom script is one not shipped with the Opsview product, once you (the customer) have written yourself and one that may have been created by Opsview via a “paid-for engagement” (through Professional Services (PS))
- support will be provided for a PS custom-created script, but changing/enhancing it will not be, as that is another engagement
When raising a ticket/incident about a custom script you will likely be asked the following:
- Requested for more details about the script - i.e. history or the script, the script itself to see if ITRS support may provide any advisory actions to yourself
- Asked if you would like to pursue a PS engagement or if you wish to have this requested/logged as a Feature Request
