Web Dashboard - Why does my Web Dashboard icons show severity when the main views are blank

Imagine a scenario where you have a Web Dashboard happily working, you want to add an additional dashboard to your configuration. After you upload the new adb file you may see something like below

Not only is the dashboard you uploaded not displaying (New Dashboard 1 in above picture) but existing dashboards which worked (New Dashboard) are also not displaying. Depending on the version of the Web-Dashboard that youy are running the logs may also be displaying exceptions like below.

This is likely to have occurred because the adb that was uploaded has been built from an Active Console version newer than the Web Dashboard version that is currently running.

Note

We do not support newer adb format with older Web Dashboards; you will need to either upgrade your Web Dashboard to the latest version or rebuild your dashboard with the matching version of the Console and Web Dashboard.
