E4JMS - Why does the E4JMS Topics/Queues plugin display a getMaxMsgs() error
When configuring E4JMS-Queues or E4JMS-Topics you may come across the following error
This is related to the Tibco Jar files that the NetProbe is using. The Tibco Jar files should be located from the E4JMS application server, the error could mean that the jar files specified are older than expected. The getMaxMsg option was added in Tibco 4..3 / 4.4 onwards and if the Jar files specified are older than a message like this is expected and some of the E4JMS plugins (Queues and Topics) will not display a dataview.
The solution is to ensure you are running the correctly versioned files. You can run java - jar command against the tibco jar files this will return the version of the tibco application.
