Geneos Gateway Capacity Limitations for Kubernetes deployment

Max memory and CPU and the Netprobe instances should depend on your configurations set. It is advisable to arrange a similar sizing as to your existing physical environment.

Kindly refer to the YAML configurations on this documentation as an example: https://docs.itrsgroup.com/docs/geneos/current/collection/data-collection-in-orchestrated-environments/installation-using-helm/index.html#Heading-netprobe-deployments

This refers to the information specific to Netprobe deployments.

One Netprobe or Collection Agent chart can be configured to connect to multiple Gateways and run in the same cluster.

Starting Geneos 6.3.x, the Helm chart now determines which collection image version is used during installation based on the configuration settings. By default, the image tag in the YAML file is blank, and the Collection Agent runs an unprivileged image as a non-root user.

If you’re looking for the values to be configured, we have our Professional Service that should help tailor this for you: https://www.itrsgroup.com/services/professional-services
