Dataview shows Sampling Status " Script timeout"

Problem:

• Sampler Status will show ‘Fail - script “Timeout”

Possible Cause:

A cause of why Sampling Status would show “Script timeout” if a toolkit script is taking too long to run.

Possible Solution:

When the timeout is breached you can either check the script manually and ensure it runs promptly. You can use the script timeout option if the script needs to take time to complete although our recommendation is that a script should run in under a few seconds.

Note: The timeout is there to protect the other functions of the netprobe as it runs, effectively, single-threaded and the other samplers and queued until the toolkit completes.
