Netprobe - How do I change the port on the server without reinstalling the probe in Windows?

You can edit the information in the registry editor: HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/NetAgent/<service\_Name> and the reg key is NET\_PORT.

This has been run in Windows 7 and the full path to netprobe in the regedit on current test machine is HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/NetAgent. This may be on different location on other Windows OS |

Also, we ship the NetProbe with the utility to change the registry; this can be found in the NetProbe installation folder na\_setenv.exe. To change the port using this utility: >na\_setenv.exe <servicename> NET\_PORT <new\_value>
