Viewing, editing, and deleting recurring downtime

You can view and manage all configured recurring downtime schedules from the Monitoring > Recurring Downtime tab.

Columns Copied

The following columns are shown by default:

Column Description
Name Label given to the recurring schedule.
Recurrence Ssummary of the recurrence pattern, including type, interval, and days.
Duration Length of each triggered downtime window.
Start Date Date and time from which the recurrence begins.
End Date Date after which no further windows are created. Blank if no end date is set.
Author User who created the schedule.
Last Updated By The user who last modified the schedule.

The following columns are hidden by default. To show them, open the column toggle menu in the table header:

Selecting rows Copied

Check the checkbox on one or more rows to select them. Selecting at least one row enables the Delete button in the toolbar.

To view the full configuration of a recurring downtime without editing it:

  1. Right-click a row and select Details.
  2. The details dialog opens in read-only mode, showing all settings from Schedule and duration and Select objects.
  3. Click Close to dismiss.

  1. Right-click a row and select Edit.
  2. Wait for the loading indicator to finish. The full record is fetched before the dialog opens.
  3. All fields from Schedule and duration and Select objects are pre-filled and editable.
  4. Make your changes, then click Save.

Changes are applied immediately and the list refreshes.

Note

Deleting a recurring schedule does not cancel any currently active downtime window it has already triggered. To cancel an active window, see Viewing and canceling downtimes.

To delete one or more recurring downtimes:

  1. Check the checkbox for each row you want to delete
  2. Click Delete in the toolbar
  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm

If a deletion fails, the affected rows remain in the list and an error notification is displayed.
