How to fix critical alerts on "Nachos - HTTP" and "Magellan - HTTP" in a clustered environment

If you have a clustered setup and monitor peers using the “OP5 Monitor Server” management pack you might end up with critical alerts:

Magellan - HTTP connect to address and port 8008: Connection refused Nachos - HTTP connect to address and port 8009: Connection refused

To solve this you need you need to update to at least OP5 Monitor 8.2.1 and perform the following steps:

  1. Activate the updated “OP5 Monitor Server” management pack. Configure -> Management packs -> Manage Management packs. Find the “OP5 Monitor Server” pack and click on “Activate”. Save configuration.
  2. Check the services on the peer in the gui and verify that you have two new services called “Nachos” and “Magellan” without HTTP in the name.
  3. Delete the old HTTP services.
  4. Save configuration.
