OP5 Create custom command adapting existing ones

You can create your own command based on your preference using the same pattern from any available commands that comes with OP5 product.

NOTE: It is always best and safe to copy the original command template to avoid unexpected enormous and serious issues of your live monitoring and to preserve its actual settings.

In this example, we’ll be using “check_snmp_v3_authpriv” command.

Step 1: Copy the original command template.

Will look like similar to this.

Step 2: Fill-up all the necessary information based on your requirements. Submit and save.

Step 3: Fetch the defined custom command once you add your service check.
