Can I display historical data from oracle/sql database to Active Console Dashboard
This article describes an Active Chart and not a Historical Chart.
No need for an FAQ article for the Historical Chart since this is documented here

You can display historical data stored from your oracle/SQL database in Active Console Dashboard. However, you can generate it only per cell.
1st method:
Pick one cell in the database table of data that you want to monitor and drag it into the Active Dashboard
After dragging it, the Tools & modifiers tab will appear. There you can select different charts and widgets. You can find the historical section there and select the time that you want to set to monitor your database.
After Clicking your desired historical chart it will now appear on the Active Dashboard
2nd Method:
Another way to add a chart data set is by right-clicking the LINE or BAR chart (inserted through Active Dashboard Palette) and selecting the Line Chart section. Then click Add Chart Data Set.
Then check the properties you can now see the All Data Sets section.
You can edit/type or paste the path of the cell that you want to display in the LINE or BAR chart.
You can also follow this documentation to input historical data from your database:
