IBM i - IBM i Log Reader plugin shows FILE_IO_ERROR

In the event that when configuring the IBM i Log Reader plugin you experience a FILE_IO_ERROR you should ask the client to check with their IBMi administrators whether there is a firewall rule in place.

This is documented in Ticket 310492

In this case the client’s firewall rule was blocking access to the file - the plugin reports FILE_IO_ERROR in this use case. This has not been verified in house with our own IBMi test environment however it is a troubleshooting step that should be checked for.
