How to ignore the alert if the file has arrived already

Problem:

• The expected time of file arrival is 6 am and the client wants to monitor this file from 6:00 am to 10:00 am

Possible Solutions:

1. Create an override Active Time that contains the maintenance schedule.
2. Add the override Active Time to the current Active Time of the rule.

With this setup, the override Active Time will inactivate the rule during the configured maintenance schedule.

e.g

• 24x7 is my rule’s Active Time

• Not Active is my override Active Time

• Another way is to create a scheduled command that executes the Snooze command on a data item for a specific period.
