How to send email notification using Linux sendmail

Linux sendmail is not part of the ITRS Geneos suite which makes this unsupported.
This article will act as a quick and simple guide to setup email alerts via sendmail using the Gateway userdata variables. This is an alternative to the Gateway’s libemail functionality.
