FKM - Sampler not appearing in dataview - character encoding issue

I have configured an FKM sampler but it is not appearing in my dataview, there is no information in the NetProbe log file that is present. One of the reasons may be that a special character / non ascii character has somehow been pasted into the sampler configuration.

You should check the Gateway Log file for messages. Something like the below will indicate an issue:

To workaround this you should do the following:

  1. Delete the sampler config
  2. Restart the netprobe
  1. Create a fresh sampler config, do not paste existing information from an external source
