I want to fire an action after an item has triggered but is snoozed
Problem Copied
- When the cell change to critical, it can trigger “action1”, but when I snooze it, it can’t trigger “action2”. Action is not firing.
Possible Cause(s) Copied
-
Root Cause: In Restrictions, Snoozing stops severity propagation and also blocks actions from running by default. If the administrator changes the Action defaults under the Action Advanced tab, there is a “Restrictions” section, and for Snoozing the default is “Fire if item and ancestors are not snoozed” but this can be changed to either “Always Fire” or “Fire if item not snoozed”.
Possible Solution(s) Copied
- Solution Root Cause: Check the restrictions for the specific action and change it to “Always Fire”
