Is data transmission between netprobe and gateway encrypted by default

Current Geneos versions support secure communication between components. Connections can be protected by enabling Transport Layer Security (TLS) between Geneos components. Encryption is not enabled by default, however.

Users are recommended to use updated versions of Geneos which include various enhancements in this area (at least GA5.5 with features UTL-1167, UTL-1168 added). Please refer to the documentation links provided in this article for details.
