What command does X-Traffic plugin use to obtain the metrics
Answer:
The X-Traffic plugin makes use of Npcap or libpcap.so library depending on the operating system.
The plugin needs to open network devices, so the Netprobe should be running with elevated permissions.
- Linux:
- root, or equivalent with sudo or setuid commands
- for newer Linux versions, enable CAP_NET_RAW and CAP_NET_ADMIN Linux capabilities
- Windows: Administrator permission
