Active Console - How to resolve the "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" error

Temporarily disabling UAC may resolve the exception access issue, however, turning off UAC reduces the security of your system. When you see this error in the Active Console logs:

The root cause is still being investigated. This issue could be seen due to User Account Control (UAC) feature enabled on Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system. UAC is enabled by default in Windows Vista and Windows 7. As a result, you might encounter some compatibility problems with different applications that have not yet been updated for the Windows UAC component. Additionally, the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error message can occur while using almost any application on your computer. It usually pops up when the application you are trying to run tries to access a protected memory address. Dubbed an Unhandled Exception Access Violation and marked by a numeric error code 0xc0000005, this Windows error restricts PC users from using the app that encountered the error message.
