How are the E4JMS Queues and Topics information derived?

Tibco libraries Geneos uses Copied

Geneos uses both TopicInfo and QueueInfo classes included in the Tibco libraries:

• TopicInfo
• QueueInfo

Both call functions defined in DestinationInfo. This functions are getInboundStatistics and getOutboundStatistics. These will return a value of type StatData.

Information Geneos gets from Tibco Copied

We’re interested in getMessageRate and getByteRate:

• bytesIncoming - getInboundStatistics().getByteRate()
• msgsIncoming - getInboundStatistics().getMessageRate()
• bytesOutgoing - getOutboundStatistics().getByteRate()
• msgsOutgoing - getOutboundStatistics().getMessageRate()
