Gateway -How to create Multi-Line descriptions in Dataviews
HTML tags must be used to enable text to be spread across multiple lines in a dataview.

Result:
Adding multiple lines to the description field does not result in the dataview being modified.
The solution is to use HTML tags in the Description field:
<b>- bold<br>- line break
<html><b>Sample description</b><br><br>Longer description<br></html>
