Use this guide to define roles and different levels of access to the Gateway Setup Editor. The configuration depends on where the Rules section is located.

Follow this procedure, if the Rules section is in an include file:
1. Follow steps #1 to #6 in the previous instruction above.
2. Add another Setup permission with the following configuration:
- Add include.xml location path to File section of Setup, such as below:
`/home/gelo/gateway.setup.7039.include.xml`
- **Access**: Apply
- **Locking**: None

3. Assign a user to the role created.

# Prerequisites
Check where your rules section configuration is located.
## Procedure
Follow this procedure, if the Rules section is in the Main Setup file:
1. In the Navigation pane, Click **Authentication**.

2. On the right pane, click the **Advanced tab**.
3. Select the Enable section permissions checkbox.
4. In **Roles**, create a new role.
5. Add a Sections permission and set the following configurations:
- **Allow**: Selected
- **Sections**: Path > Rules

6. Add a Setup permission and set the following configurations:
- Select the **Main file** check box
- **Access**: Apply
- **Locking**: None

7. Assign a user to the role you created.
