Why doesn't Opsview work after I restarted an Opsview host?

If an orchestrator, collector, or other Opsview host is shut down before its Opsview components are stopped, .pid and .lock files can be left behind which then stop components starting properly.

You should perform a hard restart of all Opsview components on the host.
