Restore a backup from the audit log

If you need to revert changes saved by an Apply Changes, you can restore to the backup created at the time of the Apply Changes. Such backups are stored in /opt/opsview/coreutils/var/backups/ on your orchestrator, they consist of compressed backups of tables in the opsview database.

  1. Log in to the UI as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Configuration > Audit Log.

  3. Find the backup you want to restore.

  4. Click Restore in the column on the right.

  5. Click OK and wait for the restore to complete.

  6. Click Apply Changes.

No backup for this Apply Changes Copied

Usually, a backup is taken prior to an Apply Changes. When restoring from the Audit Log, no backup is taken for the final Apply Changes.
