Set landing page for different user roles

Setting user roles for specific landing pages to limit access to different functions of Opsview

This is to enable a different type of access for any user roles on what they can access after logging in

You can do this, but there will be some steps in applying this to a user

1 Set a role that would only access the Dashboard

2 Add the role to the specified user

3 Make sure you have support scripts installed in the CLI. See the link below for installing the support scripts Opsview - Install support scripts – Support - ITRS Group

Run this command to change the landing page of the user to the Dashboards page directly when logging in *If this is not done once the user logs in, they will be unable to redirect to the Dashboard page

# sudo -iu opsview /opt/opsview/supportscripts/bin/homepage <acc name>
