Use of Load Balancer for License Daemon

While placing license daemons behind a load balancer is NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED yet, there have been successful tests from different users. Given that this is not supported, users’ discretion is strongly advised.
In its current form, even if the license daemon goes down, connected gateways will continue to function. This is due to gateways’ cache-successful license requests to the license database, allowing the Gateways to operate using cached licenses during outages.
Gateway cache is persistent across both Netprobe and Gateway restarts, ensuring monitoring functionality even if the license daemon experiences an issue, leading to disconnection between Gateways and the license daemon.
